Richard has served in a variety of roles in the Anglican Church since his ordination in 1981: diocesan staff, seminary professor, national staff member, parish priest and regional archdeacon.
He retired as Vicar of Holy Trinity Cathedral in New Westminster and as Regional Archdeacon of Westminster in December 2023. He returned to parish ministry in May 2024 to serve as Interim Priest in Charge of the Church of the Epiphany.
In addition to his ministry in the Parish, Richard is the Chair of the Standing Committee on Constitution and Canons of the Diocese of New Westminster and as Acting Chair of the Property Development Committee of the Diocese.
He is married to Paula, a retired Anglican priest, and they share three adult children and two cats.
